Let's Talk Passports
Routine processing times for passports have increased to over three months. In order to make sure students are applying for their passport as soon as possible, the Office of Study Abroad requires proof of passport by the program’s application deadline.
Proof can be shown in multiple forms:
1. Passport copy
2. Passport application copy
3. Passport status update from passportstatus.state.gov
If you have not applied for a passport, you may start your application at travel.state.gov.
If you are located in Hattiesburg, you can submit your passport application + documents to the Forrest County Chancery Clerk. See information below.
